Tangent Games Canceled Project
The following images are from the pre-production period of a canceled title by Tangent Games. Art Director, Richard Smith, charged me with explorations for look development. During this time I also worked alongside our Lead Programmer on height blended material painting, procedural asset placement, and procedural texturing. Once we hired our first Senior Concept Artist, she and I worked together to help define the shape language and color palette that our Art Director wanted to achieve. With the help of a Substance Designer and Painter, I created easy to customize smart materials to be shared with all other environment artists, which helped cut down the chance of creating duplicate work.
